Quick question: if your web developer disappeared tomorrow, could you log in to your own website?

Most business owners we meet can’t. And it’s rarely an accident.

Here is how it usually goes. You hire someone to build your site. They launch it, it looks great, and they hand it over. Except they don’t really hand it over. The hosting runs on their server. The domain is registered to their account. Google Analytics and Search Console, the two free tools that tell you how many people visit your site and how you show up on Google, were either never set up or were set up under the developer’s login.

So you can’t see what your website is doing. You can’t tell whether anyone finds you on Google Maps. And every small change means sending an email and waiting.

That is an old developer move, and it has been used for years for one reason: it keeps clients from leaving. We think it’s the wrong way to keep a client.

Meanwhile, the rest of your technology has no owner either

Small companies grow in a hurry. A few laptops become fifteen. Passwords live in someone’s head or a spreadsheet. Nobody is sure whether backups run, who has admin access, or what happens if an email account gets compromised. You are too big to wing it and too small to justify a full-time IT manager, a web developer and a marketing person.

That gap is exactly where we work.

The fix: one partner for your website, your search results and your systems, built on the Glavnos Ownership Standard

Every engagement starts with the same rule: you own it, we run it. If we ever part ways, you keep the keys.

  • Your domain and hosting are in your name. Not on our server, not under our account. We are added as a manager, and you can remove us any time.
  • Google Analytics and Search Console live in your Google account. We set them up properly, give you access on day one and show you how to read them.
  • Your Google Business Profile is yours. We get you showing up on the map for the services you actually sell, with consistent listings everywhere.
  • Every system is documented. Logins, vendors, devices and settings are recorded in IT Glue, so your company never depends on one person’s memory, including ours.
  • You get plain-language reporting. What happened, what it means and what we recommend next, without the jargon.

Why this works when the usual options don’t

The freelancer

Builds the site and moves on. Nobody is watching updates, security or search results after launch.

The agency

Built for bigger budgets, hands you to a junior account manager and often keeps your accounts on its side.

The full-time hire

A salary plus benefits for one person who rarely covers websites, SEO, IT and security all at once.

The Glavnos way

Senior help across all of it

Glavnos gives you senior help across all of it, part-time and ongoing, sized to what you actually need, with everything kept in your name.

What changes when we take it over

  • Customers searching for what you do start finding you, including on Google Maps.
  • You can see, any day, how many people visit your site and where they come from.
  • Your website loads fast, stays updated and stops breaking after plugin updates.
  • Backups, access and security basics are handled, so one bad click doesn’t become a crisis.
  • New hires get set up quickly because everything is written down.
  • You have one person to call for the website, the email, the laptops and the Google listing.

Don’t take our word for it

New York Small Business Law, Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice and KPa+d all came to us with sites someone else had built.

We modernized the backend, kept the design they liked and fixed the speed, security and SEO problems.

Free 30-minute audit

Start with a free 30-minute Ownership & Visibility Audit

This is not a sales pitch dressed up as a meeting. In 30 minutes we look at your actual setup and tell you what we find, whether or not you ever hire us. We check:

  • Who really owns your website. Domain, hosting and admin access: are they in your name or someone else’s?
  • Whether you can see your own data. Is Google Analytics and Search Console set up, and do you have access?
  • Whether customers can find you. How you show up on Google and Google Maps for the services you sell.
  • The security and speed basics. Updates, backups, SSL and load time.

You leave with a written priority list of what to fix first. It’s yours to keep, whether you use it with us, with your current developer or on your own.

Your Ownership & Visibility Audit

Normally $149

Yours is free.

Because we work closely with every client, we take on only two new clients each month. Audit slots are limited for the same reason.

Our no-hostage promise

Everything we build or set up stays in your name. If you ever decide to move on, we hand over every document and remove our own access, with no exit fees and no hard feelings.

Ongoing work is month to month, with no long-term contract. Projects are 50% up front and the rest on delivery, or split into milestones that fit the work.

What happens when you click the button

  1. You’ll go to a short form. Tell us your website address and what’s bothering you most.
  2. We’ll reach out within 24 hours to pick a 30-minute time that suits you, by phone or video.
  3. Before the call we look at your site and your Google presence, so the 30 minutes is spent on answers, not questions.
  4. After the call you get your written priority list. If it makes sense to work together, we’ll send a proposal. If not, you still keep the list.

Questions owners ask before they book

We already have a developer. Why would we talk to you?

Keep them if they’re doing a good job. The audit will simply confirm that you own your accounts and can see your own data. If something is missing, you’ll know exactly what to ask them for.

Is the audit really free, or is it a sales call?

It’s free and you leave with a written list either way. If you want help afterward, we’ll talk about it. If you don’t, that’s fine.

What does working with you cost?

Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need, as a single project or an ongoing monthly partnership, and priced in a written proposal after the audit. Basic website care (updates, backups and security) starts at $149 per month. Ongoing work is month to month. Projects are typically 50% up front and 50% on delivery, or split into milestones.

What happens to our website and accounts if we stop working with you?

Nothing breaks, because everything is already in your name. We hand over the documentation and remove our own access.

We only need help with the website, not IT (or the other way around). Is that OK?

Yes. Many clients start with one piece and add the rest later. The value of one partner is that the pieces work together when you’re ready.

Can you take over a site someone else built?

Yes, that’s a large part of our work. We modernize the backend, keep the design that works and fix speed, security and SEO issues.

Do you work outside New York City?

Yes. We’re based in Brooklyn and work remotely with clients in New York, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and California, in English and Spanish.

P.S. If you skimmed to the bottom, here’s the short version. Most small companies don’t own their own website accounts, can’t see their own Google data and have nobody watching their systems. Every month that stays true, you’re paying for a website you can’t measure, missing customers who search for you on the map, and carrying a security risk nobody is checking. A free 30-minute audit tells you exactly where you stand, and the written list is yours to keep.
